HISTORY
Blue River Homes was founded by Jim Davis in 1995. Having built thousands of homes and condominiums in the Chicago metro area, Mr. Davis recognized a need for high-quality, affordable condominium style homes in the Rockford area. With an abundance of single-family homes and a smattering of duplex style condominiums marketed to the empty-nester, Mr. Davis felt that Rockford was missing a stylish, current, trendy style of condominium that could offer high-design, home-ownership and a maintenance free condo lifestyle to a variety of demographics including young professionals, young couples and middle-aged singles.

Based on this study, Mr. Davis brought Blue River Carriage Homes to Rockford. As the Blue River Carriage Home styling grew in popularity and demand, the company grew with it. Blue River now consists of an extraordinary office staff, designers, construction superintendents, carpentry crews and a knowledgeable, customer-oriented sales staff.

The Blue River product offerings have grown also. The Carriage Homes began with a program offering minor customization choices and options. Today the Carriage Homes are a semi-custom product offering a wide variety of trendy and current options, finishes, and floor plans.

Blue River also added the Terrace Homes to their product offerings. The Terrace Homes are large, luxury, ranch-style, duplex condominiums, showcasing an ever expanding portfolio of new plans.

Blue River continues to keep an eye on the needs and desires of the Rockford real estate market, and will continue to provide its customers with new housing products, programs and solutions.
